Creative Works Studio in CONTACT Photography Festival
Creative Works Studio's Making A Scene will be featured as part of the 2016 CONTACT Photography Festival!
Making a Scene is a collective project that explores visibility, self-expression and mental illness. Over many months in late 2014 through early 2015, the artists of Creative Works Studio worked together using textiles and screenprinting to create lavish costumes, which were then photographed. These images convey something each artist wanted to express, or a way they wanted to be seen.
We're excited to present the show as part of CONTACT in May 2016 in the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St. Michael's Hospital.
The show will run from May 4 - May 31, 2016.
Wednesday, May 4, 2016
4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Note: The reception will be photographed and filmed, and photos or video may be used for Creative Works Studio's promotional materials. Please let a staff member know if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed as soon as you arrive at the event .
